Sorry I have not posted on here for awhile! College has started and I have been extremely busy trying to stay on top of things. Just wanted to share some amazing shirts from www.express.com that are perfect for fall. Still lots more to come! 

Beaming Blouses

 Promised some pictures of me wearing my blouses, so here you go! The first one was a color blocked shirt from express that I paired with some black pants and a pair of studded shoes to give it a nice edge. I have had those shoes for about 3 years now, important lesson, FASHION REPEATS ITSELF! Never throw away anything (unless it is absolutely awful). The second picture shows me wearing another shirt from express but this time I paired it with palazzo pants. Palazzo pants are so amazing and are easy to dress up or down. They go great with blouses so I suggest you buy some for this fall!

Beaming Blouses: FALL FASHION 1

Blouses are a great way to start this years Fall 2012 fashion. This elegant men's wear inspired look gives a great comfort level to all women. Playing with the different prints and styles of blouses really adds a great touch of personality to any outfit you choose to wear. The picture's below show some of the shirts that I have already purchased from www.express.com. They are my favorite statement piece thus far for fall. I feel like they are super versatility, and can be worn numerous ways. You can do different pants (such as palazzo's for that chic Hollywood look), skirts,shorts, leggings and so much more. Throw in a pair of studded shoes and you have a great outfit. Keep it original and unique. Studs are super in right now for fall fashion. I love this hardcore rocker style that's out right now. Simple studs can add a nice edge to any outfit you decide to wear. You'll see a lot of this trend in a lot of shoes and bags. Don't be afraid of adding a little stud action to anything you wear! Stacy London: Style Icon

Stacy London from TLC's What NOT to Wear has got to be the best dressed women in the world. She has been my style icon for the past five years. Her show has made me love fashion ever since then and find clothing that is figure flattering to my body. Stacy London has amazing taste along with her teammate Clinton, they help people in America have a closet worth looking at. She knows how to rock a colored pant, accessorize a sexy dress, and turn up the volume with extraordinary colors. She will forever be my inspiration in the fashion industry. Maxi Lovin'

Hey everyone! This blog post is going to be short, but I just want to share with you how much I adore the Maxi style. I feel like it gives this super feminine feeling to anyone who wears it and maxi's are also very comfortable. They are also very figure flattering, and in my opinion, work for any women's size or height. I suggest them very much! Check out White House Black Market for figure flattering maxi's or any unique store that has them. Remember to always set your style apart  from everyone else just to make it that more attractive and interesting. When I was visiting the Savannah College of Art and design, I decided to wear a maxi skirt from WHBM and a shirt from Banana Republic, with a red belt just to throw in some color. I always try to add some color to anything plain i wear. I also use pictures from Pinterest so type in my name and follow me for more pictures of fashion!

Poppin' Palazzo's

Palazzo pants have become my new obsession. I don't really see them around in stores, or anywhere in fact. It's a type of trend that will come and go, but is unique in its own way. When shopping, always try to buy the things that seem unusual and chic, things that make a statement where ever you go. People tend to buy clothing that they consider "on style" (which I agree with, but I don't necessarily buy the same clothing, I like to spice it up a little). For example if black skirts are in, I like to play around with the length of the skirt or the color, rather than buying the same piece of clothing everyone else with have. Also try to look for unique stores that have a message with their clothing, or a rather re-occurring theme or purpose. Don't always give into those stores that  give you great deals then two months later your clothing is ruined, sometimes it's worth it to spend that extra bit of cash. Anyway back to the palazzo's, it's fun to go with an unusual print, that way you can play around with the shirt on top. Whether you decide to wear a solid black top as I did, or a yellow, try to keep it a solid color with no print. Mixing a print with pattern is very difficult, so I wouldn't recommend. You can also go with a solid colored palazzo pant and pair it with a fun, flirty top as shown below. My pants were purchased from White House Black Market (you can Google them and you'll find their website) as well as my shirt and black and white earrings. I also paired them with the red bag shown earlier just to add a pop of color and enhance the blue color on the bottom of the pants.
